KRS ORIENTATION DAY 2009

HELLO..One new year is coming soon..Our school is going to reopen soon too. Wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR AND HAPPY 2009. As our school is reopening, Kadet Remaja Sekolah is going to have activities back too.

Our 1st activitiy will be our "KRS Orientation Day" which held on 17th of January (Saturday), from 4.00p.m to 8.00p.m. We will have a lot of fun activities and BBQ. Please bring extra clothes.

If you wish to join KRS, you can proceed to our stall during Gerko Day to register. Then, you can come to our Orientation Day!!! Hence, Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, What are you waiting for??!

JUNGLE TRACKING - 08/11/08

ATTENTION! Activity will be held at Taman Pertanian this Saturday (08/11/08) from 7.30 a.m to 2 p.m. We will be having jungle tracking there. Please gather at school before we depart from school. Further information kindly refer to KRS notice board as there will be notices about what do you need to bring and time of this activity.

AGM

FINALLY we will be having activity this week.
AGM will be held on this Friday (15/8/08) after the morning session ends.
Every cadets are compulsory to attend, please gather infront of cadet room at 12.50pm with complete full-u on.
For those who don't have full-u, you may wear your half-u to attend.
Attendance are compulsory and please be PUNCTUAL.

What's AGM? It's the retirement day of the form 5's and new AJK list will be announce on this day.

our school scout (9th Petaling Scout Troop) is organising a campfire at school
KRS is invited to this campfire
Celebration Details:

Venue : Catholic High School (Tapak Perhimpunan)

Price: RM8 per person( food and drinks provided)

this is a good oppotunity to know more friends in CHS and other school

12/07/08 Activity

Activity will be held as normal on the 12/07/08 from 8.30am-12pm
We will be having kayak course this week at University Malaya (UM)
Members are adviced to join this fun and exciting activity.
If you do not know how to swim, don't worry, there are safety equipments for everyone
You are required to pay RM6 for 2 hours of kayaking.
Please do so latest by this wednesday (9/7/08) to Wong YewHo from 4P2
Any question can write it in the cbox in this blog or ask any of the AJKs

05/07/08 Activity

First of all, i would like to apologize for the late update due to some technical problem

Activity will be held as normal on the 05/07/08 from 8:30am-12:30pm.

We will be having a cooking session on that day. You will be teach how to build up a fire and techniques of cooking in a camp.

Members are required to bring:

1) 2 eggs

2) campbell soup in can

3) mastin

4) spoon

5) dry tree branches or firewood

remember, everything is HALAL which means NO PORK

kindly inform other cadets (every single of them) about this when u see them

28/06/08 Activity

Activity will be held as normal on the 28/06/08 from 8:30am-12:00pm.
We will be having a competition on that day. Members will be required to build a camp site based on the materials given. Your camp site should consists of:
1) khemah peserta
2) khemah jurulatih
3) pintu gerbang
4) lubang basah
5) lubang kering
6) longkang
7) pusat pengawalan dan santri
(the model of the camp site is as shown in the picture)

Materials provided:
1) strings
2) sticks
3) 'camp base'

Members can also bring their very own materials. Materials such as:
1) glue
2) scissors
3) threads.......

Your group's camp site will be given marks based on:
* creativity
* cleaniness
* group work
* set up of your site

Judges:
* Selected AJKs
* Teacher advisors

Welcome Back!

Hey Folks! After many weeks for exams, we're finally back to our normal activity! WooHoo~!! :)
Well, we had sort of a little different activity this week, right? Do all of you have fun? Tired?
From Saturday's activity, i can see that our members are starting to get together and strengthen our bonding with each other. Besides, we could also see all the teams being very united. That's good! Keep up your good job!

Through Saturday's activity, i think that all of us, AJKs and members, have not only improve physically, but also improve in our social skills, co-operation, and also our bonding.

Photo Session for Committees and Form 5 members

There will be a photo session held on this Friday (22/02). You are required to wear the Full-U to school on friday morning and gather infront of KRS Room immediately after assembly. Please bring along all your accessories to school. Thank You!! :)

Paint Ball

There will also be a paint ball session held on the 22nd of march 2008 which is a Saturday.

Time : 8:30am - 12:00pm
Venue : Xtion Paintball Park, Bukit Jalil
(Landmark : Opposite Carefour, Few minutes drive from Bukit Jalil Stadium)
Charges : approx. RM50 (inclusive of transportation, gears and equipments for paintball)

Members are required to confirm with Ng Ee Zhen (5S2) by the 23/02 (Saturday). You can also confirm with her through sms or phone her at 017-2377366.

KRS KEM PERTAULIAHAN 2008

Dear members, please note that there will be a camp held in the school compund during our first term holidays. We encourage all of you to attend this camp as you will be learning more things about KRS and there would be a chance for you to promote yourself to be a Lance Corperal.
